Join me for an evening of acoustic music at the Ethical Culture Society of Brooklyn, Friday June 23rd, 2006. I am thrilled to have, once again, Margaret Dorn on vocals and Karen Hogg on mandolin, joining me. Perhaps we will have some additional guests.

I will be sharing the bill with Terrence Mann. My 45 minute set will
begin at 8pm, Terrence Mann follows. $10 cover. $6 children. And children are very very welcome at this venue.

Prospect Park West between 1st and 2nd Street.

Take the F Train to Seventh Avenue. Exit at the front of train. Walk
up from 8th Ave to Prospect Park West and walk down the numbered
streets from 9th Street to 2nd Street.

Take the 2 or 3 Train to Grand Army Plaza. Follow Plaza Street around
to Prospect Park West and walk up to 1st Street.
or
Take the B or Q Train to Seventh Avenue. Walk up 7th Avenue to 1st
Street. Left on 1st Street up to Prospect Park West.

Janie has collaborated with Michael Bacon on music for a film directed by Kevin Bacon that appeared at the Sundance Film Festival. Her voice will be the personification of Kyra Sedgwick's angst-ridden character.

Janie will be producing new albums by Allison Scola and Allison DeSalvo.

Janie and Mick Hanson are finishing tracks for some well-known as yet undisclosed rocker veterans, contemporary folkies, and one certified pop diva. They also recently recorded the infamous Robert Gordon on one of their tunes at Paul Guzzone's Triple Z Studio.

And yet another Bacon Brothers moment. Janie and Vaneese Thomas recently added vocals to the Bacon Bros' studio version of "Footloose," recorded for the upcoming Will and Grace soundtrack CD.
